There is a big library in Kolkhoz [collective farm] ‘Victory’. Kolkhozniki [farmers in the Soviet Union] read books by Pushkin, Nekrasov, Mayakovskiy, Gorkiy, Kolas, Kupala, Kyleshov. A kolkhoznitsa [farm girl] Maria Ivanova Zaharova reads a lot. Children also like to read.
