What I know about the swastika!

Germany, 1940s

On the Nazi flag, the swastika is in a white circle on a red background.
Originally the swastika came from the sun. In the Nordic countries, people made out a fast-moving cross in the sun. The oldest discoveries come from the Isle of Siebenbergen where a swastika had been engraved in urns. A swastika was also found on a stone in Egypt. Sun signs were to be found in Troy and on tombstones in the catacombs of Rome. As such, the swastika was a sign of salvation and good fortune. It was meant to bring luck in battle to warriors. The swastika in our flag reminds us of the Aryan thought.
